1995 Parkpre SceptorCOMP

Saturday, September 22nd, 2012
Being a Parkpre enthusiast I naturally wanted my wife to have a Parkpre also. The kids too someday?  The problem is that its really hard to find 15″ Parkpre mountain bikes. I am always on the scout for Parkpre’s and especially 15″ frames. In 2011 I happened to spot a 15″ SceptorCOMP in awesome shape (female owner) on craigslist in Arizona for… Read More

New Steed

The 1995 Kona Kula. This is one of the bikes I wanted back in the day when I was first into mountain biking but could not afford. The brand KONA appealed to me for obvious reasons back then but also this model " Kula" because that was my beloved cats name. I seen this bike in a magazine ad in 95' and wished I could own it. The Marzocchi shock I was also a huge fan of from the MTB magazine ads. So recently… Read More

My Punk Flyers – 1980′s

Sunday, January 23rd, 2011
Here is my flyer collection from the 80's. These flyers along with other SST posters, blacklight posters, drawings and graffiti covered my bedroom walls thru the 80's. In the process of trying to locate my old ticket stubs to add with my new collection from the past couple years, I came across my old flyer collection. So I spent the early afternoon today scanning images. With the exception of the Black Flag flyers from California shows, these flyers are from the Detroit area shows from the mid to late 1980's which I was fortunate enough to see a few of these gems. These flyers are for some incredible and classic shows that I would pay big dough… Read More

Concert Stubs

Saturday, January 15th, 2011
2010 has been a awesome year for going attending shows! So I have acquired alot of new concert stubs and has started me on a mission to locate my vintage collection of concert stubs with a few that are precious to me. Like my Wendy O' Williams signed Plasmatics ticket stub, my Lori Barbero signed Babes In Toyland stub, my Kiss Tiger Stadium Reunion Show Stub, My 1st Annual Detroit Kiss Convention Stub, My Nirvana stub and several others (I hope I haven't misplaced these!). Of course my stub collection no where near reflects all the shows I have attended. Since I surely have misplaced many of them and most of the great shows didn't even have stubs.… Read More
